A. Prevacuum phase
The autoclave removes air from the chamber through 1 to 10 adjustable vacuum pulses, facilitating effective steam penetration into porous materials, hollow instruments and complex loads.
B. Heating phase
The integrated steam generator produces saturated steam and injects it into the chamber until the programmed sterilization temperature is reached.
C. Sterilization phase
The autoclave maintains the programmed temperature and pressure throughout the specified exposure time to achieve the required sterilization conditions.
D. Vacuum drying phase
For solid loads, the vacuum pump and heating jacket work together to remove residual moisture, ensuring effective drying. This phase is not performed during liquid sterilization cycles.
E. Vacuum drying phase
Once the cycle is complete, the autoclave notifies the user through the display and an acoustic signal. The door can be opened when the chamber pressure reaches a safe level.
